President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the personnel and veterans of the Military Academy on its 70th anniversary, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"The renowned educational institution has preserved the best traditions, experience in training officers, and a rich history," the congratulatory message reads. "Today, the Military Academy is the leading higher education institution of independent Belarus, providing training for military personnel in a wide range of specialties for the Armed Forces, other security agencies of our country, and friendly states. Among the academy's graduates are many prominent statesmen, military leaders, scientists, diplomats, and athletes – true patriots of the Fatherland."

The Head of State expressed confidence that the highly professional team of the academy, possessing a modern educational base and significant intellectual potential, will write many more bright pages in the history of the Belarusian military school, which makes a significant contribution to ensuring the security of the state.
