56 representatives from various fields have been awarded state decorations. The corresponding decree No. 128 was signed by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on May 2, the press service of the head of state informed BELTA.

They have been awarded orders, medals, and honorary titles for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, exemplary performance of official duties, merits in military service and border protection, prevention and liquidation of natural and man-made emergencies, significant personal contribution to the implementation of budget and financial and tax policies, development of the judicial system, environmental protection and forensic activities, oil refining, transport and construction industries, the real sector of the economy and foreign economic relations, industry and agricultural production, achievements in public activities, education, science, culture, and art.

The Order of Honor has been awarded to Vasily Korzhov, Director General of the Narochansky National Park, and Valentina Baranova, a member of the Leninsky District Veterans Organization of Grodno of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans.

Six employees of the State Border Committee have been awarded the medal "For Distinction in Military Service": Deputy Heads of Departments Grigory Ganussevich, Alexander Gotovchits, and Alexander Taupeko, Head of Department of the Directorate Vitaly Aleshkevich, Deputy Head of Department of the Directorate Arseny Krupko, and Head of the Ideological Work Department of the 21st Border Detachment Sergey Lysenko.

Alexey Ivanov, Senior Investigator for Particularly Important Cases of the Department for the Investigation of Crimes Against the Interests of Service of the Investigative Committee, has been awarded the medal "For Distinction in Public Order Protection". A group of five representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been awarded the medal "For Distinction in the Prevention and Liquidation of Emergencies". These are Dmitry Belyavsky, Dmitry Guts, and Viktor Satsura, heads of the Lida, Kalinkovichi, and Khoyniki district departments for emergency situations, Dmitry Golubev, head of the Mogilev city department for emergency situations, and Alexey Ioffe, First Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Rescue Services and Emergency Response of the Ministry of Emergency Situations - Head of the Emergency Response Directorate.

The merits of a significant number of employees in various fields have been recognized with the medal "For Labor Merits". Among them are Minister of Finance Yuri Seliverstov, First Deputy Minister of Industry Alexander Ogorodnikov, Director of Slutsk Vinegar Plant Alexander Rybak, diamond cutter at Gomel Production Association "Kristall" OJSC - management company of "Kristall-Holding" holding Igor Першин, Director of Samokhvalovichi Secondary School Valentina Smolenskaya.

The Medal of Francis Skaryna has been awarded to Oleg Ignatenko, Deputy General Director for Scientific and Innovation Work of the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Materials Science, Lyudmila Rodionova, vocalist at the Youth Estrada Theater, and Alexander Chizh, Head of the Radio Photonics Laboratory of the State Scientific and Production Association "Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology".

The Decree also conferred honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus. Anatoly Chebotarev, leading research engineer at "Peleng" OJSC, became an Honored Inventor; Galina Belyaeva, deputy director for educational work at Secondary School No. 34 in Mogilev, became an Honored Teacher; Mikhail Dymovich, director of Ivacevichi State Agrarian College, became an Honored Worker of Education; Tatyana Krotova, leading technologist at the poultry slaughter shop of "Agrokombinat "Dzerzhinsky" OJSC, became an Honored Worker of Agriculture.

By his decree, Alexander Lukashenko also expressed gratitude to the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Supreme Court.

For many years of fruitful work, high professional skill, and significant performance in official activities, the first deputy heads of the Shklov and Nesvizh District Emergency Situations Departments Yuri Belonovich and Leonid Fraimovich, the Mozyr City District Emergency Situations Department Evgeny Deshin, the head of the Luninets District Emergency Situations Department Sergey Kolesnichenko, and the chief specialist of the department of regulatory and technical work and emergency prevention of the main department of supervision and prevention of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Kim Kadrov were awarded.

Larisa Matveenkova, Head of the Main Department for Organizational and Methodological Support of Judicial Activities of the Supreme Court, was awarded the President's Gratitude for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, and a significant personal contribution to the development and strengthening of the judicial system and ensuring legality.
