62 representatives of various fields of activity have been awarded state decorations. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on April 10, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Orders, medals and honorary titles have been awarded to them for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, exemplary performance of official duties, courage and determination shown in saving people during a fire, merits in military service and protection of the state border, significant personal contribution to ensuring legality and strengthening law and order, development of the construction industry, civil aviation, road management, the real sector of the economy and foreign economic relations, improvement of banking and tax systems, legislation in the field of state property management, excellent achievements in education, healthcare, science, culture and art.
The Order of Honor was awarded to Mikhail Kovalev, Deputy Head of the Department of State Prosecution of the General Prosecutor's Office for Supervision of Legality of Criminal Case Decisions; the Order of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to Ivan Misko, an artist-sculptor, member of the Belarusian Union of Artists.
The medal "For a Saved Life" was awarded to Nikita Rudak, commander of a unit of the diving rescue service of the Republican Special Purpose Unit "ZUBR" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A large group of border guards was awarded medals "For Distinction in Military Service" and "For Distinction in Protecting the State Border". Among them are Artyom Borsukov, head of the border post department of the 20th border detachment, and Pavel Mironyuk, head of the research department of the Institute of the Border Service, as well as Artyom Shapoval, commander of a border vessel of the border vessel unit of the coastal guard department of the 19th border commandant's office, and Valery Yushchenko, commander of a reconnaissance and search group of the mobile group of the 21st border detachment, respectively.

Beliy Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems of the National Academy of Sciences; Pyotr Ridiger, professor of the Department of Singing at the Belarusian State Academy of Music; and Andrei Tabolich, an orchestra artist at the G.I. Tsitovich National Academic Folk Choir of Belarus.
The decree also conferred honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus. Vladislav Pligovka, a leading stage master at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor), became an Honored Artist. Mikhail Pozdnyakov, chairman of the Minsk City Branch of the Union of Writers of Belarus, became an Honored Figure of Culture. Zhanna Rupasova, head of the Plant Chemistry Laboratory at the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences, became an Honored Scientist. Oleg Saltovsky, an air squadron commander at Belavia Airlines OJSC, became an Honored Pilot.
The title of Honored Teacher was awarded to Zhanna Zhadeiko and Lyudmila Kushnereva, teachers of Russian language and literature at Gymnasium No. 14 in Gomel and Gymnasium No. 1 named after F. Skaryna in Minsk, respectively.
