Friendship knows no boundaries!

Events dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia were held in Sebezh.

Delegations from Verkhnedvinsk, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Rossony, Miory, Beshenkovichi districts of the Republic of Belarus and Pskov, Opochetsky, Ostrovsky districts of fraternal Russia met on the hospitable Sebezh land.
Verkhnedvinsk and Sebezh districts are linked by strong sister-city relations, long-term cultural and economic cooperation.
By tradition, the events began with laying flowers at the monuments in the Victory Banner square. Then, the solemn opening of the festive events took place at the Sebezh Cultural Center.
Collectives and soloists from the Verkhnedvinsk Cultural Center, masters from the House of Crafts and the Center for Social Services for the Population generously shared their creativity with the participants of the holiday.
