This holiday unites people of different generations, all those who work for the benefit of the Motherland. May Day symbolizes respect for the working person and affirms the social values of modern society – decent living conditions, stable work and wages, the right to state protection and support. Maintaining peace, the opportunity to work creatively on our native land for the common good is the foundation of the policy of the Belarusian state.

The well-being of each of us depends on the daily work of people of various professions, their skills, initiative, and creative approach to their work. Thanks to you, dear countrymen, our district is effectively solving socio-economic development tasks today, achieving high performance in various fields, and confidently looking into the future. Traditionally, on the eve of May Day, Verkhnedvinsk honors the laureates of the district Honor Board – and this year, deserved awards were presented to the best representatives of various fields of activity. Many thanks to all for your conscientious work and sincere love for our small homeland.

We express special gratitude to the labor veterans, by whose hands the heritage of our native land was created, we honor the current workers who multiply the achievements of previous generations, and we believe in our young generation, which is taking over the baton of the best labor traditions.
