The Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office warns

Since the beginning of the year, more than 40 children have been injured in the region as a result of sledding down snow-covered hills on inflatable tubes, sleds, and other sports equipment. More than 10 of these children sustained severe injuries, including spinal fractures!!!

In this regard, we warn children and parents about the necessity of observing safety rules: the inadmissibility of sledding in dangerous and unauthorized areas (with uncleared slopes, presence of rocks, trees, and other obstacles in the path, near water bodies), the mandatory use of protective gear, and the use of inflatable tubes and other sports equipment in accordance with the children's height and weight.

Remember that attaching inflatable tubes to vehicles (cars, snowmobiles) is strictly prohibited!
