Announcement of the special preventive event "Thin Ice".

From January 3 to January 10, 2026, a special preventive event "Thin Ice" will be held in the Verkhnedvinsk district.

 

The purpose of the event is to prevent accidents on water bodies during the winter period, to inform the public about safety rules on ice, and to prevent tragedies associated with falling into water.

The campaign plans to include:

- Conducting information campaigns and distributing leaflets on rules of conduct on ice;

- Organizing patrols of areas where there is a risk of going out on thin ice;

- Conducting outreach activities in educational institutions on water body safety.

The Verkhnedvinsk District Department for Emergency Situations urges all citizens to be attentive and cautious, to observe safety rules, and not to go out on unfrozen ice. Your health and safety are in your hands!
