One day for clean air!

The Verkhnedvinsk District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection reminds you: on September 22, the international event "World Car-Free Day" will be held.

The goal of the event is to promote walking and cycling, and the use of public transport to draw public attention to the problem of excessive use of private transport, which, in turn, negatively affects the state of atmospheric air and the environment as a whole. In our country, this event is held annually under the slogan "Belarus for clean air" and is voluntary.

In the Republic of Belarus, the "Car-Free Day" event was first held on September 22, 2008. It was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications, with the active support of local executive committees. Over time, the event has become a tradition that contributes to raising environmental awareness among citizens.

Car-Free Day is not just an opportunity to spend a day without cars, it is a chance to realize how our daily habits affect the environment. Participation in this event allows everyone to contribute to improving air quality and creating a comfortable urban environment.

The State Institution "Verkhnedvinsk District Physical Culture and Sports Club" invites everyone to take part in a bike ride dedicated to World Car-Free Day.

The event will take place on September 22. Gathering of participants at "Yubileynaya" Square at 13:50. The bike ride starts at 14:00. Route: "Yubileynaya" Square - microdistrict-ring road- bypass road-Yanino village-"Yubileynaya" Square.
