On August 29, traffic police officers will hold a Unified Road Safety Day

In August, the Unified Safety Day will be held under the slogan "Safe Road to School – Adult Responsibility!", aimed at preventing child road traffic injuries before the start of the academic year.

Much in ensuring children's safety depends on drivers. It is necessary to be extremely attentive, patient, and considerate when driving near schools, kindergartens, and other children's educational
institutions, as well as when passing pedestrian crossings, parked cars, and other obstacles that limit visibility.
The main reasons for road traffic accidents involving children are:
— entering the roadway at an unauthorized location in front of oncoming traffic
— entering the roadway from behind a bus or other obstruction
— playing on the roadway
— walking on the roadway.
To prevent child road traffic injuries, traffic police officers will strengthen control over compliance with traffic regulations near educational institutions, at unregulated pedestrian crossings, and at accident-prone sections of roads.
