Tax authorities do not use messengers to communicate with taxpayers!

Recently, there has been an increase in citizens' inquiries in the Vitebsk region regarding phone calls received via Viber, allegedly from tax authority employees. The Ministry of Taxes and Levies Inspectorate for Novopolotsk informs that tax authority employees do not use Viber to communicate with taxpayers and do not request the following information by phone:

* personal data;

* bank account information;

* information about bank card transfers;

* information about income received by citizens, including from abroad;

* do not send codes or links.

Stay vigilant! If you receive a suspicious call, we recommend immediately ending the conversation and contacting the tax inspectorate for clarification.
