Youth of Verkhnedvinsk are participating in an inter-district youth motor rally dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People

Participants of the motor rally are members of the Youth Councils under the Verkhnedvinsk, Miory, Glubokoye, and Novopolotsk Councils of Deputies. The delegation from Verkhnedvinsk district is represented by members of the Youth Chamber under the district Council of Deputies, members of the NGO "BRSM", and representatives of the deputy corps.

The delegation is headed by the Chairperson of the District Council of Deputies, Irina Kozel. The first point where the younger generation paid tribute to memory was the memorial complex "Urochishche Borok". The memorial complex is dedicated to 27,000 Soviet and Italian prisoners of war, victims of the concentration camp in Berezvetchye. In Miory district, the delegation of participants, the leadership of Miory district, and representatives of labor collectives and public organizations laid flowers at the memorial sign in honor of the soldiers and partisans who liberated the city from the Nazi invaders. The next point on the route of the inter-district youth motor rally was Verkhnedvinsk. The city residents met the participants in the city square, where a rally was held at the "Memory" memorial afterwards. Irina Frantsevna Kozel, Chairperson of the District Council of Deputies, addressed the attendees with a welcoming speech. A moment of silence and laying of flowers concluded the event. The motor rally will then proceed to Borovukha urban-type settlement.
