A planned technical inspection of the public warning system is underway across the Vitebsk region today.

On June 17, from 10 AM to 4 PM, a scheduled technical test of the public alert system will be conducted in the Vitebsk region.

 

Electric sirens will be activated, and messages will be broadcast via radio and public address systems in shopping centers, railway stations, and bus stations.

The test is conducted to maintain constant readiness and ensure timely warning of the population about the threat or occurrence of emergencies, as well as to inform about the procedure for behavior in such situations.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: upon hearing the "Attention to all!" signal, activated by electric sirens, specialized technical alert devices, or other signaling means, it is necessary to turn on a radio receiver and listen to the emergency message about the current situation and the public's course of action. Please remain calm and maintain public order!
