During the summer period, the Ministry of Emergency Situations will conduct the republican information and propaganda campaign "Safe Holidays!"
To ensure that children's summer holidays are free from emergencies and not overshadowed by tragic events, EMERCOM employees will conduct the republican information and advocacy campaign "Safe Holidays!" and enrich children's leisure time with a variety of useful activities. The campaign will run from June 1 to August 31 in all parts of Belarus, in health and summer camps. Its goal is to prevent fires caused by children's carelessness with fire, as well as child fatalities and injuries, and to teach rules of conduct at water bodies.
Rescuers will visit children in every summer camp session to add a touch of safety to their usual leisure activities.
EMERCOM propaganda officers will offer children not just "safety lessons," but highly modern and engaging activities: the camp-wide quest "Land of Safety," various quizzes on water safety and fire safety, master classes, quizzes, and excursions to safety centers, museums, and fire stations. The most athletic will be able to showcase their physical fitness in "Safety Sportland."
Through various game formats, children will acquire knowledge of life safety, which is especially necessary during the summer period. Activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters will assist EMERCOM employees in conducting the campaign's activities.
EMERCOM reminds: dear parents, grandfathers, and grandmothers!
Under no circumstances leave young children unattended! Do not allow children to play with fire, keep matches and lighters out of reach, and do not let children near windows and balconies. Remind children of the rules of safe behavior near water, and ensure that children do not swim unsupervised. Remember that not only water bodies pose a danger, but also wells, bathtubs, buckets of water, and decorative ponds. Preserving the life and health of children is a common task for all adults! http://www.d-p.by/2025/05/v-oblasti-startuet-respublikanskaya-akciya-bezopasnye-kanikuly/
