In the Verkhnedvinsk district, a marathon of congratulations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory continues.
Today, Raisa Trofimovna Baikova and Galina Frantsevna Yuntsevich, former underage prisoners, are receiving flowers and gifts in the Osvyansky village council.
To congratulate them on the upcoming Victory Day, the following visited: Irina Kozel, Chairperson of the District Council of Deputies; Sergey Navitsky, Chairperson of the Osvyansky village council; representatives of the Osvyansky branch of the Territorial Center for Social Services; and the Osvyansky Secondary School.
The jubilee medal "80 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" was presented to the residents of our district by the military commissar, Lieutenant Colonel Denis Milinchuk.
A musical congratulation was performed by employees of the Osvyansky City House of Culture.
The memory of the terrible war and the Great Victory cannot fade; it is forever inscribed in the history of the Fatherland and every Belarusian family.
