The T. Khadkevich Central District Library commemorated the events in Chernobyl

Today, library staff, together with the director of the district historical and local lore museum, Novikova P.I., held a memorial lesson "Chernobyl: Days of Trials" for visitors of the day care department for disabled people of the Verkhnedvinsk Territorial Social Service Center and city residents.

 

Librarian Glatenok N.S. prepared a review of a book exhibition of the same name, which features literary works dedicated to this terrible tragedy.

The director of the Verkhnedvinsk historical and local lore museum, Novikova P.I., presented participants of the event with a virtual review of Mikhail Savitsky's series of paintings "Black Truth".

May the memory of those tragic days be preserved, so that Chernobyl never happens again on our land.
