Today, an off-site meeting of the working group on the development of ecological tourism of the Interdepartmental Expert and Coordination Council on Tourism under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus is being held in the Grand Hall of the Verkhnedvinsk District Executive Committee.

The following individuals are participating in the seminar:

 

Korbut Alexander Nikolaevich, First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus.

Koltsa Roman Fyodorovich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

Sergey Viktorovich Valkov, First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, welcomed the attendees.

The participants will then hear presentations dedicated to:

the development of ecotourism using the "Osvyeysky" reserve as an example,

the implementation of projects based at the institution,

the approval of ecotourism development strategies in the republican reserves "Osvyeysky" and "Krasny Bor".

The guests will also visit the reserve's visitor center and familiarize themselves with the work organization of their colleagues.
