On March 15, 1994, the first Constitution of sovereign Belarus was adopted. Thanks to the implementation of the articles of the Basic Law, a strong, independent state has been built, which has become a guarantor of rights and freedoms for every Belarusian, providing citizens with the opportunity to develop and realize their potential in any field of activity.

In 2022, the updated Constitution came into force. Together, we have created the main state document, enshrining in it the fundamental principles necessary for the realization of such vital values as people's power and justice, equality and legality, patriotism and family, traditions and culture.

Dear compatriots! May Constitution Day be a day of pride for our Fatherland for all of us and give us new strength in achieving the goals set for the benefit of our native region!
