A preventive event is being held in the Verkhnedvinsk district aimed at improving the safety of passenger transportation by minibuses on regular routes.

Officers of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Verkhnedvinsk District Department of Internal Affairs will conduct daily monitoring of compliance by drivers of route minibuses with the Traffic Rules, as well as the Rules for Passenger Transportation in terms of safety requirements.

During the monitoring, traffic police officers will pay attention to the physical condition of drivers, the possession of a valid driver's license, compliance with speed limits, violations of overtaking rules, as well as the transportation of passengers without fastened seat belts and other violations.

The event will last until March 20.
