The "BusinessMAMA" competition is held from March 1 to October 14, 2025, among women raising children under the age of 3

The competition is organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, the NGO "Belarusian Women's Union", and OJSC "Belinvestbank" with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus.

 

     The objective of the Competition is to stimulate the development of entrepreneurial initiative among mothers.

The main objectives of the Competition are:

to popularize entrepreneurial activities among women;
to support projects aimed at developing women's entrepreneurship, including those that meet the social needs of women;
to contribute to the formation of necessary competencies and knowledge among women for starting their own businesses.

      According to the terms, each participant can submit only one work (business project, business idea) to the competition.

      To participate in the competition, participants must send an application to the email address sme@economy.gov.by with the subject line "BusinessMAMA" no later than July 1, 2025. Competition works (business projects, business ideas) are accepted in Russian and (or) Belarusian.

      The competition will be held in three stages:

Stage One – qualifying – will be held remotely from March 1 to August 1, 2025 (announcement of the competition; acceptance of applications for participation in the competition; selection of no more than 10 participants for Stage Two);
Stage Two – main – will be held offline from August 1 to October 1, 2025 (participants from remote regions of the country will have the opportunity to participate remotely). Participants will present their competition work (business project, business idea) to an expert commission. The presentation will include the presentation of the competition work (business project, business idea) in a free format with justification of its feasibility and implementability (up to 5 minutes per participant) and answers to the expert commission's questions.

Stage Three – final – will be held from October 1 to October 14, 2025, during which the results will be summarized and the competition winners will be awarded.
