Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus Maria Mazhinskaya visited the Verkhnedvinsk district on a working trip.

Together with Dmitry Novatsky, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee, and Vasily Shilov, Chairman of the Verkhnedvinsk District Executive Committee, the meeting participants familiarized themselves with the socio-economic development of the district.

 

The guests visited JSC "Verkhnedvinsk Dairy and Cheese Plant" and "Invet". The director of the enterprise, Svetlana Chivirova, informed them about the progress of the investment project for the reconstruction of the production building into a workshop for the production of sour cream and butter, existing treatment facilities, and external power supply within the framework of the "One District - One Project" initiative.

At JSC "Invet", the director of the enterprise, Sergey Gromadko, spoke about the production of plastic products using rotational molding.

With representatives of "Beltamozhservice", the progress of the investment project for the construction of a transport and logistics center and a waiting area with the implementation of an electronic queue system for vehicle entry into the "Grigorovshchina" road border crossing point in the village of Grigorovshchina, Verkhnedvinsk district, was discussed.

A meeting was held with the work collective of JSC "Invet". Maria Mazhinskaya spoke about the socio-economic development of the country, the tasks for the upcoming five-year period, and the main areas of activity for strengthening the economy and improving the welfare of the people.
