President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed decree No. 45 on January 30, which establishes the maximum permissible tariffs for housing and communal services for 2025
As a result, utility payments for the population, calculated for a standard two-room apartment with three residents consuming services at normative rates, will increase by Br21 (0.5 of a base value) in 2025.
The tariff increase will be implemented in two stages: from January 1st – by Br17.05 for all services except heating and hot water supply, and from June 1st – by Br3.95 for thermal energy for heating and hot water supply.
In 2025, the share of utility payments in the income of a family of three with two working individuals earning the national average wage will be 3.8%, and for a family of two pensioners – 8.3%.
