How was the main voting day for the Presidential elections of the Republic of Belarus in the Verkhnedvinsk district?
The main election day for the residents of the Verkhnedvinsk district became a real celebration. Polling stations began their work with the sounding of the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus. From 8:00 AM, trade was organized at the polling station locations, and concert programs were held.
It is noteworthy that the election commission was not idle. People came regularly.
Youth also actively joined the work.
Volunteers of the "BRSM" NGO were always ready to provide assistance at the polling stations. They did not forget about first-time voters. The "BRSM" NGO prepared souvenirs for such young people, implementing them during the republican campaign "Your First Vote".
For voters who were unable to come to the polling station to cast their vote for the chosen candidate, home voting was organized. It is worth noting that the atmosphere on both the early voting day and the main election day at the polling stations was calm and comfortable. People came on their own, with families and neighbors. This speaks volumes: about the significance of the event for the people of Verkhnedvinsk, about laying a good and important family tradition - electing the future for their country, and about the fact that the strength of Belarusians lies in unity.
