The "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" charity event has started in Verkhnedvinsk region
The initiative, now in its third year, has taken on a "people's character" and become another cherished tradition during the New Year holidays. As part of the "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" campaign, special attention will be given to lonely citizens, individuals residing in social institutions, long-livers, and veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The events will continue until January 15, 2025.
On December 26, deputies and the elder of the Borkovichi Rural Council, heads of institutions and organizations, and members of the Verkhnedvinsk district branch of the "Belaya Rus" party visited the Borkovichi Nursing Home, showing care and attention to the older generation.
Ilya Bolshoy, Head of the Department of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the District Executive Committee, Archpriest Valentin Vabishchevich, rector of the Holy Nicholas Church, Anna Mironova, Director of CB No. 206 of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank" in Verkhnedvinsk, and Irina Toyronen, Chairperson of the Verkhnedvinsk regional branch of the public association "Belaya Rus," visited the department of social rehabilitation, habilitation of persons with disabilities, provision of day care for the elderly, and comprehensive support in crisis situations of the Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population, bringing gifts and congratulations. The "Goodness for New Year" concert program was presented by the "Vesyoliy Nastroy" ensemble from the Oswieja State Cultural and Leisure Center.
The marathon of good deeds within the framework of the republican charitable campaign "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" brought a festive spirit to all those who need special care and attention during these pre-holiday winter days.
