The traffic police of the Vitebsk region is holding a special event 'Safe Region'

As part of the ongoing event, on December 13 and 14, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Verkhnedvinsk District Department of Internal Affairs will be transferred to an enhanced duty mode.

 

Inspectors will conduct patrols of the main highways of the region under a mixed control regime to prevent traffic violations related to entering the oncoming traffic lane and exceeding speed limits.

The control zone will focus on preventing drunk driving.

Traffic police officers will also pay attention to the physical condition of cyclists and pedestrians, and the presence of reflective elements and vests during dark hours.
