On December 16, the traditional republican campaign of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "Safe New Year" will start in the Verkhnedvinsk region.

It will be held in two stages. Thus, from December 16 to 20, rescuers will visit schools and families where children are in a socially dangerous situation. They will remind adults and children about the rules for using pyrotechnics, behavior on ice, operation of electrical equipment, stove heating, and safety during winter holidays.

From December 23 to 30, Fire Grandfather Frost, Snow Maiden, and fairy-tale characters will visit places selling pyrotechnic products and crowded places. They will remind people about the correct use of pyrotechnics, distribute visual aids, and offer photo opportunities with the fairy-tale characters.
