A test of the warning system will be held in the Verkhnedvinsk district

On December 3, 2024, from 10:00 to 16:00, a planned technical inspection of the public alert system will be conducted in the Vitebsk region, including the Verkhnedvinsk district.

 

Electric sirens will be activated, and messages will be broadcast on the radio. This is necessary to ensure the technical operability and proper functioning of the system in the event of emergencies or natural disasters.

Residents and guests of the region are kindly requested to treat the ongoing inspection with understanding, maintain calm, and observe public order. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds of the rules of conduct when electric sirens are activated, which signifies the transmission of the warning signal "Attention to all." Upon hearing this signal, it is necessary to turn on radio and television receivers to listen to the emergency message.
