33 years since the establishment of the "Bigosovo" customs post

On November 18, the "Bigosovo" customs post celebrated its 33rd anniversary.

 

By order of the Customs Committee of the USSR No. 202 dated November 18, 1991, "On the Establishment of Customs Authorities," the Verkhnedvinsk customs was established with a zone of operation covering the territory of the Verkhnedvinsk district of the Vitebsk region. The customs post was part of the customs structure.

And it is this date that marks the beginning of customs activities in the Verkhnedvinsk land in the modern history of the country. The "Bigosovo" customs post has a rich historical heritage. Over the 33 years of its existence, a number of changes have occurred, but the tasks facing the customs post have remained unchanged. It is also renowned for the deeds and people who served at the customs in different years. And today, in his congratulatory address, the Head of the Vitebsk Customs, Sergey Linkevich, thanked the veterans and the entire team for their professional, conscientious service, acknowledged the younger generation of customs officers, and of course congratulated everyone on the holiday. At the end of the event, the results of the competition among the children of the post's employees, "Customs Post Through the Eyes of Children," were announced, and the winners were awarded prizes by the Head of the Vitebsk Customs.
