From November 20 to 26, with the aim of stabilizing the situation on the country's roads, the State Automobile Inspectorate will hold the republican preventive event "Save Your Life!"

The campaign aims to draw the attention of pedestrians and cyclists to the importance of strictly adhering to safe road behavior rules, mandatory use of retroreflective elements and high-visibility clothing during dark hours, as well as in adverse weather conditions.

Enhanced traffic control has been organized with the involvement of all public security police officers.

Special attention will be paid to identifying drivers and pedestrians who grossly violate traffic regulations. Patrol groups from the special traffic police unit "Strela" will assist districts with the most challenging traffic situations.

Additionally, on patrol routes, control is exercised over the proper functioning of external lighting, instances of its deactivation during nighttime, and the work of organizations responsible for the winter maintenance of the street and road network.

We urge everyone to be extremely attentive on the road and to report pedestrians and cyclists posing a safety hazard by calling 102, in order to promptly remove them from the roadway.
