The main themes of the season are on the agenda of the next meeting of the district executive committee, which is taking place today in Verkhnedvinsk.

Issues concerning the readiness of organizations in the Verkhnedvinsk district for the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025, as well as the preparation of agricultural organizations in the district for winter stall housing of livestock, were discussed. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Vasily Shilov, noted that these are vital issues and work in this direction is always ongoing. However, unfortunately, shortcomings are identified that require detailed analysis and measures for their elimination.

 

The Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Dmitry Reut, informed that organizational and technical measures for preparation for the heating season in the district have been completed or are in the process of completion. Tasks have been set for the Housing and Communal Services Group, other economic entities, and heat energy consumers to complete the planned work in the near future and ensure full readiness for the autumn-winter period.

Analyzing the information from the First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Head of the Department for Agriculture and Food, Sergey Valkov, the meeting decided to complete preparatory work for livestock wintering before the beginning of October. Efforts should be directed towards the readiness of livestock premises, improvement of farms, ensuring the herd has the necessary amount of feed, preserving the livestock population, and proper organization of labor for livestock breeders. Vasily Shilov recalled that the head of state has called the livestock industry the main one in the rural economy, and its development will receive special attention.
