In the territory of the Verkhnedvinsk district and the city of Verkhnedvinsk, from September 17 to 23, a preventive campaign "Week of Prevention of Juvenile Offenses and Emergencies Involving Them" is being held.
The purpose of this campaign is to inform students, educators, and legal representatives of minors about methods of detection, consequences of consumption, and responsibility for the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogues, including responsibility for committing fraudulent acts with bank payment cards.
This information and educational work is primarily aimed at maximally reducing the number of crimes committed by minors in the sphere of illegal drug trafficking, as well as crimes involving minors in the illegal circulation of payment instruments and/or tools.
The objective of the ongoing campaign is to collectively foster societal values and ideas aimed at resolving issues related to the prevention of crimes and offenses in the adolescent environment, and to conduct educational and upbringing work with the younger generation, including their legal representatives.
During the specified period, preventive measures to prevent crimes and offenses by adolescents will be carried out in educational institutions, enterprises, and other organizations.
In addition, police officers will continue to operate raid groups in the evening and at night in places of mass youth gatherings, including discos, entertainment venues in the city and district.
The Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Verkhnedvinsk District Executive Committee once again reminds: for drinking alcoholic beverages in a public place, appearing in a state of intoxication caused by the consumption of narcotic drugs, other stupefying substances, which offends human dignity and public morality, there is liability under Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus: a fine of up to ten base units.
Children under 16 years of age are allowed to be outside their homes at night from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM only when accompanied by parents or their legal guardians!
