A Unified Safety Day will be held on September 26

Since 2021, according to the decision of the Commission on Emergency Situations under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the Unified Safety Day (hereinafter referred to as USD) is held on the Thursday of the fourth week of September throughout the republic.

The objectives of the USD are to jointly form a culture of life safety in society, conduct educational and upbringing work with the younger generation, and promote safe living conditions for the population. The goal of this event is to minimize the loss of life from external causes, including fires. On September 26, preventive measures to prevent fires and other emergencies, to train skills for correct behavior in case of fires, as well as to practice evacuation plans and provide first aid to victims will be held in educational institutions, enterprises, organizations, and places with mass gatherings of people.
