Today in the Vitebsk region, the republican campaign of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "Children in the Spotlight!" has been launched.
The main goal of the campaign is to draw public attention to the problem of child injuries and deaths from external causes, including fires due to being left unattended.
The campaign will be held in two stages. The first stage will last from August 19 to August 30. The main target audience will be parents, and the venues for events will be shopping areas (school bazaars, fairs). In children's clothing sections, sets of children's firefighter protective clothing will be displayed, and in stationery sections – fire extinguishers and smoke detectors.
The second stage will last from September 2 to September 13. Rescuers will attend festive assemblies and conduct thematic "Safety Lessons" with children. Activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Association for Rescuers and Firefighters (BMOOSP) and other interested organizations will participate in the event.
