On August 14, a set of preventive measures "Child Seat!" will be held in the Verkhnedvinsk district.

The State Traffic Inspectorate strongly recommends strictly adhering to the Traffic Regulations and transporting young passengers only in a special child restraint seat. In the event of a car accident, a special child restraint device holds the child in place, thereby reducing the risk of fatalities and injuries.

The transportation of children in a passenger car equipped with seat belts is carried out up to 12 years of age:
in child restraint devices that correspond to the child's weight and height – up to 5 years of age;
in child restraint devices that correspond to the child's weight and height, or other devices (boosters, special seat cushions, additional seats) that allow the child to be safely fastened with the seat belts provided by the vehicle's design – from five to twelve years of age.
It is permitted to transport children under twelve years of age without using the specified devices if the child's height exceeds 150 centimeters, as well as in a taxi.
