Harvest-2024 is gaining momentum

The 2024 harvest is gaining momentum. Simultaneously, farms are busy with fodder procurement, and the sowing of winter rapeseed will begin very soon.

The harvesting of winter wheat and rapeseed is underway at OJSC "Shaiterovo" until late in the evening – they have 1280 hectares of these crops to harvest. In total, 2300 hectares of grain and leguminous crops, 340 hectares of rapeseed, and 400 hectares of corn await the harvesters. Just yesterday, the Shaiterovo team completed the harvesting of winter barley, which occupied 285 hectares. The Shaiterovo team consistently demonstrates high experience, authority, and achievements in grain cultivation. They are developing new technologies and achieving stable results.

A total of 10 combine harvesters and 8 drivers involved in grain hauling are working in the fields. To harvest the entire crop without losses, everyone will have to work hard. The workload per combine harvester is over 260 hectares. But the grain growers are experienced and conscientious people. So they will cope with the harvest.
One of those who is constantly leading the harvest is combine harvester operator Vasily Kosov. He says that everyone understands and takes responsibility for the intense work schedule during such a "hot" season.
"Everything is ready in the field, everything is ripe," says Vasily Kosov. "While the weather is good, while everything is conducive to harvesting, we must harvest."
The man, by the way, has more than once been among the leaders in grain threshed. And now he is in the lead: he has threshed over 400 tons of winter barley.
Experienced and responsible combine harvester operators Denis Yasyukevich, Sergey Lipovka, Nikolay Kuzmichenok, Vladimir Kuchinsky, Nikolay Rodik, and cousins Gennady and Alexander Grigoryev are not lagging behind the frontrunner. To increase the pace of harvesting, colleagues - combine harvester operators Alexey Terekhov and Sergey Kuchinsky - have joined them.
Drivers Viktor Shimansky, Mikhail Shkinder, Mikhail Petukhov, Alexander Yukhnevich, Marat Shkinder, Mikhail Maher, and brothers Stepan and Konstantin Lyudskie are trying to transport the entire harvest grain by grain.
The grain receiving points are also experiencing a busy period. Grain and rapeseed are being sent to the elevators of two grain drying complexes. The weigh stations are barely keeping up with recording trips and tons. All data is entered into the logbook, as this is the payment for both machine operators and drivers.
There is a lot of work, but the farmers are meeting the deadlines. Despite the fact that fodder preparation is going on simultaneously with the harvest, and sowing also needs to be completed, there are enough resources. And this means there will be bread.
