From July 5-7, the Youth Belarusian-Russian Educational and Patriotic Camp "Kurgan-2024" will be held in the Verkhnedvinsk district.

The traditional venue was the Mound of Friendship in the Verkhnedvinsk district of the Vitebsk region, located 32 km from Sebezh on the border of Russia, the Republic of Belarus, and Latvia.

The memorial complex was erected in memory of the cooperation of peoples during the Great Patriotic War and was solemnly opened on July 3, 1959, on the fifteenth anniversary of the unification of partisans from the fraternal Baltic-Slavic region.
