Hot weather has set in. More and more people are gathering at reservoirs
to cool off.
Once again, the Ministry of Emergency Situations urges: observe the rules of behavior on the water!
IT IS FORBIDDEN:
- To enter the water while intoxicated
- To leave children unattended near water
- To cling to boats and sit on board
- To jump into the water from boats, motorboats, piers
- To dive in unfamiliar places
- To swim on inflatable mattresses and inner tubes
- To swim beyond buoys
- To give false distress signals
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Swim in the morning or evening
- Enter the water gradually
- Swim along the shore or towards it
IMPORTANT:
- Swim in designated areas!
WHAT TO DO IF YOU START TO DROWN:
- Stay calm
- Spread your arms and legs wide
- Do not exhale completely – there should be air left in your lungs
- Scoop water under yourself with your hands, swim towards the shore
