The Fourth All-Belarusian Procession of the Cross "Church and Army", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, is taking place today in Verkhnedvinsk.

The event program includes:
- Memorial service (requiem liturgy) at the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker;
- Procession from the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker to the city square;
- Rally in the square in memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War;
- Handover of the procession symbols to representatives of the Braslav district.

Representatives of the law enforcement agencies of the Verkhnedvinsk district, work collectives, public organizations, and members of the Verkhnedvinsk district branch of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus" took part in the event.
