When attempting to install the boom base into the excavator's turntable lugs, the boom spontaneously shifted. The metal structure of the shifted boom struck the fingers of the left hand and the left leg of the injured person, who was on the excavator's undercarriage, causing him to fall to the ground.
The cause of the incident was a violation of technological instructions during repair work.
05/03/2023, during the lifting of a bundle of round steel billets using an overhead crane, the load spontaneously shifted, resulting in the leg of a stacker being trapped between the stacked bundles of billets and the lifted load at one of the enterprises in Zhlobin.

05/24/2023, a roofer from one of the enterprises in Gomel injured his leg during loading and unloading operations using a КС-45729А truck crane. The injury occurred as a result of the spontaneous slipping of a metal sheet of fencing, hooked to a single-leg wire rope sling, while loading it into the body of a truck.
The cause of the incident was a violation of technological instructions for loading and unloading operations.
05/25/2023, during the movement of a cone (bucket) with concrete for pouring building foundation columns, the boom guy rope of a tower crane broke, followed by its fall (Grodno).
The technical cause of the boom fall was incorrect rigging of the boom pendant rope and the hoisting rope, which led to rope entanglement. As a result of prolonged friction, the boom pendant rope was abraded and broke.
05/25/2023, during work on replacing a section of a heating main, a partial rollover of a КС 55727-7 truck crane occurred (Baran, Orsha district).
The cause of the loss of stability (overturning) of the lifting crane, followed by damage to the designed metal structures of the boom, was the collapse of the road surface and the destruction of the reinforced concrete slab of the heat chamber under the front left outrigger of the lifting crane. There was a violation of industrial safety requirements during the installation of the crane.
07.02.2023 during the lowering of a telescopic construction handler "Manitou" by two mobile cranes simultaneously into an aeration tank section (a 5-meter deep reservoir for wastewater treatment) of the treatment facilities, the cranes overturned (Orsha city).
The causes of the incident were the performance of work in violation of industrial safety requirements, as well as the lack of coordination between the crane operators.
07.11.2023 during loading and unloading operations, a boom-type self-propelled crane KS-55727-7 overturned (Lubnya village, Mozyr district).
The cause of the overturning was the destruction of the welded joint of the transverse plate of the attachment point of the hydraulic cylinder for extending the right front outrigger. The welded joint had an unacceptable defect – lack of fusion (absence of connection between the weld metal and the base metal, or between individual weld beads).
07.28.2023 during insulation work over a heating network, the boom of a mobile crane touched a power line (Minsk city). There were no casualties. There was no power outage.
The causes of the incident were the violation by the officials of the crane owner of industrial safety requirements – performing work with a mobile crane at a distance of less than 30 m from power lines with a voltage of 110 kV without a work permit, as well as the crane operator's disregard for the warning signals of the safety device.
18.09.2023, two workers fell from a homemade platform suspended from the hook of a КС-5576Б truck crane and lifted to a height of approximately 6 m for the installation of the building's roof drainage system (Minsk region, Lyuban district).
As a result of the fall, one worker died, and the second was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
The cause of the incident was a violation of the procedure for operating lifting cranes, specifically regarding the lifting of people and loads on a platform not provided for in the operating documentation.
02.10.2023, a fatal accident occurred during demolition work using a truck crane on a blocked residential building (Kalinkovichi district). During the dismantling of a concrete floor slab on the second floor, the stability of an adjacent wall slab, which was standing vertically, was compromised. The victim, attempting to avoid being hit by the falling slab, lost his footing and fell to the ground from a height of approximately 3 meters.
The cause of the incident was a violation of the procedure for safe building dismantling.
06.10.2023, due to a strong gust of wind, a crane tower and boom collapsed (Minsk city). Construction and installation work using the lifting crane was not being carried out; it was being prepared for dismantling. There were no casualties.
The incident occurred due to violations of the manufacturer's instructions for the installation of the lifting crane, and the lack of control by the owner's officials over the employees' work in preparing the tower crane for dismantling.
