Schedule of divine services in the Verkhnedvinsk Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the eve of the Bright Easter holiday

The final week of fasting, preceding Holy Easter, is called Passion (Great) Week.

The fourth day of this week is called Maundy Thursday.
This solemn Feast commemorates the Last Supper and the institution of the sacrament of Holy Communion by the Lord. The Last Supper is an event described in the New Testament narrative, recounting the final meal of Jesus Christ with his 12 disciples.
Schedule of services at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Verkhnedvinsk:
Maundy Thursday - 18:00;
Good Friday - 20:00;
Holy Saturday - 22:00;
Sunday - 8:00.
The blessing of food for the Easter table will take place after the services on Holy Saturday and Sunday.
