We invite you to participate in the international environmental campaign "Earth Hour - 2024"

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection invites residents and organizations of Belarus to take an active part in the largest international environmental campaign – "Earth Hour-2024".

The event will take place on March 30, traditionally on the last Saturday of the first spring month. On this day, in hundreds of cities around the world at 20:30 local time, the lights of houses and public buildings will be turned off for an hour, and the illumination of landmarks will disappear.
"Earth Hour" was first held in the Australian city of Sydney on March 31, 2007. Just a year later, the campaign was supported by 35 states and over 400 cities. The Republic of Belarus joined the event in 2009.
"Earth Hour" is, first and foremost, a symbolic action to draw attention to the consequences of climate change, the need for a responsible attitude towards nature and the resources of our planet.
