OSVOD reminds!

Given the unfavorable conditions on the district's water bodies, the Belarusian Voluntary Society for the Rescue of Persons on Water (OSVOD) reminds you!

It should be noted that a ban on going out on the ice is in effect in the Vitebsk region.

The flood period requires order, caution, and adherence to safety rules on ice and water.

Do not go out on water bodies when ice jams form.
Do not use unauthorized crossings on the ice.
It is unacceptable to move away from the shore.
Such actions, as a rule, end tragically.

Do not forget that:
- the ice decay process is fastest near the shores;
- spring ice covered with snow quickly turns into a loose mass;
- when going fishing, you must have at least a minimal set of rescue equipment: a rope, a stick, a board, a life jacket,
and "crampons" to get out.
Be attentive and cautious. Your safety is in your hands!
