Pike fishing is prohibited!

In order to preserve the fish resources of the Republic of Belarus and create favorable conditions for pike spawning, in accordance with clause 30 of the Rules of Amateur Fishing and clause 68 of the Rules of Fishery Management, the following is prohibited: fishing for common pike in all water bodies in the Vitebsk region from March 9 to April 23, 2024, and in all other regions from March 1 to April 15, 2024.

Pike caught in the catch must be released back into the water body alive and unharmed.

Administrative penalties for catching pike include a fine from 10 to 30 Base Units, and for each pike caught during the spring ban on its capture, the environmental damage is calculated at a triple rate and amounts to 9 BU (360 rubles).
