On the carriage of dangerous goods
In accordance with Article 26 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of June 6, 2001 No. 32-Z "On the Carriage of Dangerous Goods" (requirements for drivers of motor vehicles carrying dangerous goods), drivers of motor vehicles carrying dangerous goods must undergo mandatory pre-trip medical examinations
and medical re-examinations in the manner established by the Ministry of Health in agreement with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Mandatory medical re-examination of drivers of motor vehicles carrying dangerous goods is carried out every three years, and for those who have reached the age of fifty - annually.
For reference. Cases have been identified where the medical certificate of a driver carrying dangerous goods has a validity period of 5 years or 2 years.
