Attention – Passenger Transportation

From January 22 to 28, the State Traffic Inspectorate is conducting a preventive event to prevent traffic accidents related to passenger transportation.

The main violations by drivers continue to be: transporting passengers not wearing seat belts, running red lights, failure to maintain a safe distance, incorrect speed selection, violation of road sign requirements, maneuvering rules, and positioning on the roadway.

During raids, inspectors will check route taxis and buses. Special attention will be paid to the necessary documentation and the technical condition of the vehicles. The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that in case of violations of the law, administrative measures will be applied to both passenger transport drivers and officials responsible for the technical condition and operation of the transport.
