The traffic police will conduct a patrol of the R-20 highway. The traffic police officers will patrol the "Vitebsk - Polotsk - Latvian Republic border" highway.

The control will cover Vitebsk, Polotsk, Shumilino, and Verkhnedvinsk districts.

For three days, from January 19 to 21, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, a massive crackdown on the highway will be carried out in areas with a high concentration of traffic accidents and accident-prone sections.
"Special attention will be paid to locations and time periods characterized by the highest probability of traffic violations and accidents," the State Automobile Inspectorate noted.
