Attention pet owners!

To register a pet, a citizen must apply to the "one-stop shop" service of the Verkhnedvinsk District Executive Committee with an application and a passport or other identity document.

It is not necessary to bring the pet. The owner will be issued a registration certificate and a token of the established sample, which must be permanently attached to the animal's collar.

Dogs and cats are subject to registration within three days from the date of acquisition. Puppies and kittens must be registered at the age of 3 to 3.5 months.

Registration of dogs of potentially dangerous breeds is carried out only if the owner has a certificate of completion of relevant training. Dog owners are required to pay a pet tax quarterly. The amount is 55.5 rubles for potentially dangerous dog breeds and 11.1 rubles for others.

Exempt from the tax are visually impaired individuals for whom keeping a guide dog is a vital necessity. Unemployed pensioners and individuals with disabilities of Group I and II also do not pay tax on dogs if there are no able-bodied family members registered at their place of residence. Residents of private houses who keep only one dog are also exempt from paying tax for their pet.
