The traffic police will conduct preventive measures from December 30 to January 8

The events are aimed at preventing and suppressing instances of driving under the influence of alcohol in the run-up to the New Year and Christmas holidays.

During the events, State Automobile Inspectorate officers will:
- focus their efforts on suppressing gross violations of traffic regulations,
- strengthen control over drunk drivers, as well as pedestrians who,
being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, may move along the roadway contrary to all safety measures and traffic regulations.
