An on-site meeting of the presidiums was held in Verkhnedvinsk
Today, a joint field meeting of the presidiums of the Novopolotsk City and Verkhnedvinsk District Councils of Deputies was held in the main hall of the Verkhnedvinsk District Executive Committee.
Chairpersons Irina Kozyol and Oleg Buyevich delivered welcoming remarks.
Victoria Yalovik, Chairperson of the Youth Parliament under the Verkhnedvinsk District Council of Deputies, gave a report on "Cooperation between Local Government Bodies and Self-Government with the Youth Parliament." Sergey Portyanko responded, speaking about the activities of the Youth Council of the city of Novopolotsk.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Councils of Deputies of the Verkhnedvinsk District and the city of Novopolotsk, as well as a Protocol of Intent between the youth self-government bodies.
Following this, the guests were treated to an excursion program, which included laying flowers at the memorial in the village of Yanino, a tour of the city, and a visit to OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Dairy and Cheese Plant."
