The best workers of agriculture and the processing industry of the agro-industrial complex were honored
Last Saturday, a festive event dedicated to the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex was held at the district center of culture and folk art.
Sergey Egorov, Chairman of the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Tatyana Dikanova, Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Agro-Industrial Complex Workers, Vasily Shilov, Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Irina Kozel, Chairperson of the District Council of Deputies, Alexey Garbul, First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee – Head of the Department for Agriculture and Food, and Elena Zuy, Chairperson of the District Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Agro-Industrial Complex Workers addressed the region's farmers with congratulations.
Awards awaited the frontrunners of the agricultural and processing industries: Certificates of Honor, Gratitude letters, and valuable gifts. Leaders of agricultural enterprises in the region who achieved high results in the development of the agro-industrial complex also received awards. Special words of gratitude were expressed to labor veterans.
Musical performances by creative groups from the region, as well as the game "What? Where? When?", were a highlight of the celebration.
