From October 16 to 30, 2023, the traffic police department is conducting preventive measures

From October 16 to October 30, 2023, the State Automobile Inspectorate is conducting preventive measures targeting carriers of passengers in irregular services (by bus and taxi).

With the aim of enhancing road traffic safety and preventing road traffic accidents during passenger transportation activities within the territory of the Verkhnedvinsk district, the State Automobile Inspectorate is conducting preventive measures from October 16 to October 30 targeting carriers of passengers in irregular services (by bus and taxi). As part of these measures, control will be exercised over the compliance of drivers of vehicles used for passenger transportation with the Traffic Regulations and other legislative acts in the field of road traffic, including through covert surveillance.

The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds that for violation of passenger transportation rules, in accordance with Part 6 of Article 18.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, the driver shall be subject to an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of up to 4 base units. For a repeated offense within a year, administrative liability is provided in accordance with Part 14 of Article 18.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, ranging from 2 to 8 base units.
